Operation Fix Tear Duct

As some of you know, Rowan has had a blocked tear duct since birth and it has progressively gotten worse. After months of constantly wiping her eye and having her wake up with her eye glued shut(along with her hair glued to the eye), we decided to have her tear duct probed. They put her in a little straight jacket type apparatus, numbed her eyeball and placed the probe(which looks like a thin wire) into her duct. The Dr thought the procedure went really well and so far, her eye seems to be working correctly! Here are a few pics of us at the Dr's office waiting for her eyes to dialate...
